Wan Kee Group is a sports retail enterprise in Hong Kong with a long history, mainly engaged in sports footwear, apparel, racket and sports supplies. Since our establishment, we have been recognized as one of the major sports retailers as well as sports brands agencies. More than 45 years of broadening experiences in retail industry have gained us close relationships with international sport brands, suppliers and customers who trust us for our commitments on market knowledge, extensive branch network, operations and staff quality.
Wan Kee Group was founded in 1969 by the Chan Family when the first sports shop ‘Wan Kee’ was opened in Johnston Road, Wan Chai, specializing in the sale of tennis goods. In the early 80s, when sports shoes became popular in Hong Kong, we have already scoped out the enormous potential in sporting goods industry and hence moved our base into Mong Kok Fa Yuen Street (later commonly known as the “Sneaker Street”) to further the business. Gradually, we have developed to one of the largest retail enterprise in Hong Kong since then.
Over the years, our business scale has been ever-growing. While we actively explored and brought diversity of brands to our multi-brand stores, we established cooperation with international sports brands to develop franchise networks. Currently, we have been the premium choice of numerous international sports brands for retailing purposes. Wan Kee Group owns 3 subsidiary companies, Wan Kee Co., Ltd., Wan Kee Sports Co., Ltd. and New Youth Sporting Goods Co., Ltd., to operate the retail business.
